Southwest Shield Services
The Southwest Shield Services multi million dollar, state of the art facility in Phoenix, Arizona was purpose designed and built for Air Products and Chemicals (completed in early 2006) by Dave Watson and Patrick Bogart. Dave’s previous life includes a degree in chemical engineering and more than 25 years experience in the Semiconductor industry including Kachina & BOC Edwards Parts Clean. Patrick’s working career covers 20+ years in International business management, Lean Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering and Semiconductor (also including some years with BOC Edwards and Kachina). This combination proved very effective in designing both plant and processes that provide a fully capable and efficient (lean) parts clean facility that has redundant equipment, high level safety features and is environmentally engineered to meet the strictest standards and eliminate risk.
In May of 2006 Dave and Patrick formed Southwest Shield Services Inc. and by mid July completed the purchase of the facility from Air Products and Chemicals. They retained the valuable staff members and have since built the business to service an array of customers in several States.
Our staff includes some of the most experienced shop personnel in the semiconductor business. Every employee has a stake in the daily operation to ensure quality and delivery performance to exceed customer expectations.
From basic parts clean and specialized coatings to rebuilds, Southwest Shield Services can provide for your needs. Parts are shipped daily into our Phoenix facility from Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, California, New Mexico and Texas which certainly demonstrates our cost effectiveness.
